starting to get warm here. anyone been doing any shooting? i have a couple springers that need some tuning. hope to get to that before i go back to work. time to get ready for the woodchuck(groundhog) season. i have the hatsan at44 long all zeroed in, and am working on the 25 condor right now. so far i have only used 35 gr eun jin domes in it, but have to try some baracudas and some 43 grain eun jins as well and see how they do beyond 50yds. as long as i can get one of them to do an inch at 100yds, i will be happy. the 35s go into one hole at 25yds, but i have not had the chance to try them out further yet

Ah, FINALLY back home! Wish I'd took at least ONE of my AGs but, alas, I didn't.
But I've been knocking some squirrels out of their tree rat domains here at the house. It's a new wave of the next generation(s).
I'm finding out that I'm mainly relying on just my go-to AG; My .22 Evanix Rainstorm---of course, heavily modified and tuned to perfection by Saddle Mountain Gunsmith and shooting those killer "Shockers" Peter from Top Air Guns sent me. Oh, but what I knock out combination! Pert near just makes my other two, while not obsolete, but still unnecessary.
I think I'm just going to have a give-away for one of them and the other give to my nephew---if he wants it. Who knows, could just give them both away---or sell one for some extra cash to ply on one of my other hobbies----fishing, boating, etc. Got some good ones on this last trip by the way, see below. This is the difference between a blue gill bream that is normal size and one you get from within the actual lake Okachobee . . .
Big dif, eh? One guess as to which came from where!

Hey, Griz . . . What's up? My sister and I tore 'em up and we got a bunch of these at one launching of the boat. Great trip, family and fun . . . mixed in with the pain and misery of a disabled vet. I'd do it all over again for sure.
Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated
Talked to Nyhunter on the phone just now before I checked my email. That guy is like the walking encyclopedia of hunting and fishing. Always pick up something just listening to him.
Pete's the one that gave me the shockers, you tried them? Need to if you haven't.
Laters,

skenco ultra shock? i use them in one of my 25s. they are absolutely devastating! i run them through my talon p with a 24inch barrel.with the power wheel "off" they do over 1050fps. i took a fox this winter with it from about 25 yds. left a dime sized hole in his noggin

Oh, SO kewl!
Wonder what you could get for fox fur these days---better yet, would it be worth it to skin and do a little work on the hide?

late to respond on my part, sorry ,Brother.....fox are actually worth quite a bit depending on the season and the grade of fur.....the chinese are back in the fur market and they and russia buy up a lot of grey fox, and it has driven the prices up greatly the past couple years. used to not even be worth it to skin a grey fox, but is sure is now! so that is a plus.been getting into airguns full time now, and working with a well known brother in the airgun world, we have some plans for some hunts this fall, and a bunch of other stuff going on, so stay tuned!

I had a conversation with some one, either you or Griz via email in where I had made the remark that I actually knew what to do with a fox pelt but that it was my intent to generate conversation.
But, then, here you come, proving to me just how naive and ignorant I really am. Good thing I asked!
I had no idea! Seriously!
If I can, I'll always admit my faults and short comings. But that is some good info there, NY!
Hey, I've been hearing a lot about this guy you of which you speak. Let's put a name to the suspense! You know I, you, the Independent Air Gun all stand behind him, right?
I'll do anything I can to sponsor him just like I do any of the others that is listed with their banners waving here. You have my complete blessing and control on what you want to post here about him. He should know that through you.
Anything I can to help other's in the Biz!
