Yea, was thinking on a .25 M-Rod myself. I've got a great gun smith that works on air guns. He can improve them, make 'em shoot better, more power and all that. Lemme know if you are interested. Does me right: Sure he'll do you good too.
I've got a highly modified .22 Evanix Rainstorm and a Career Infinity converted from a .22 to a .25. The latter will shot 50 plus grains---yea, that's a real bullet, friend! But I'm only shooting 25.5 JSB Exacts out of it right now. Currently, and through my own misgivings, I put a size 22 round in it and locked it up. Not something I can fix. I'll have to send it back to the man to have it worked out.
I've had up to 45 caliber, 9mm caliber, etc. I've had a Walther Falcon Hunter, single shot, whew! HARD to cock. Had to sell it---to much for me to carry OR cock. Had the spring replaced with a piston.
I mostly shoot squiirels and hence my memeber name, "Squirrel". Only staff are allowed to have two member names: One so we can post as members and the other so that we post as staff. Two totally different things. Staff can't post a personal point of view about certain subjects or sell stuff or trade stuff in the name of the forum. Just that kind of thing. But as a member, you are just a member with all the rights to voice a personal opinion, etc. If ever in doubt about who you are conversing, be it member with moderator privileges or not, just ask, they have to tell you and will.
My go to gun in my RS. I've got a blizzard air tube on it, carbon fiber shroud, extra baffling and the list goes on. Been working on it and modifying it pert near since I got it. But at 30 to 40 yards, this thing is a tack driver!
My nephew is getting me into bow hunting and I'm trying to convert him to air guns.
I love fishing---and hunting if I could without some aid. I'm an 80% disabled Vet and don't get to get out much. One day through, I'll nail me a big old sow hog with my RS, just waiting for the day!
I'm a chess player, a democrate with republican tendencies and a happy married man for almost 20 years now. I'm 52 and about to be 53 in a few months. Eye site is failing, bones hate the cold (anything) weather and I'm always gripping about something or the other. Just an early curmudgeon in the making, I reckon.
Well, my fellow air gun nut, welcome to www.airgunsinc.org !
Glad to have you!
