    Hello Air gunners

There is good news in Michigan!!   New bills have been signed by Governor Snyder that has reclassified airguns.  No longer will there be any question if this airgun a “firearm…Or not?”  This is welcome news for us all.  I have attached a link to a web site that details the new laws.  WWW.nraila.org/articles/20150512/michigan-air-gun-reclassification-package-signed-into-law

The Kalamazoo Airgun Show is only 8 weeks away and there are only 10 tables remaining that are unreserved.  If you are thinking about reserving a table at the show don’t get left out.  We have reservations from 16 states already.  The show has 106 tables of all types of airguns from antique to modern, bb guns to big bore.

If you would like a show flyer or have any questions about the show please just let me know.  wespowers@comcast.net

There is also an airgun shoot in the area on Saturday.  Chris Martin is the contact person at 608-347-8395.  This is a good chance to attend 2 airgun events on the same weekend.

We hope to see you at the show August 16th.

    I like this part . . .

SB 85 then creates a new definition for air guns.  Grouping air guns under the broader term “pneumatic guns,” to account for certain devices that propel projectiles by action of air, gas or spring, SB 85 allows for certain local units of government to reasonably regulate the use and possession of “pneumatic guns,” with the exception that these devices cannot be regulated on private property where authorization is given and the possessor takes precautionary measures to ensure that the projectile remains within the bounds of the property.

Locally, and in the near future, I already know a few cops that are burning about that one. They can't stand 'em round these parts. Sure gave me hell.

But absolutely out wonderfully NOT anything I couldn't handle, right?

Any who, they've really put up the fight for them (dark side AGs) TRYING to regulate them in any other sense than "firearm". Throw the BTAF right back at them and they'll argue and argue until they give you some finger wag before they leave---AS IF you had done something wrong by "branding a weapon" or some such.

Might as well yank all the Daisy BB guns outta bunch of youngsters while your at it too, I suppose. Yea, right . . .

Here, you even have the right to act as your own agent and exterminate pests within 1,000. Feet of any one dwelling on the property. Here we have a deer problem so that one gets along with all the farmers, trust me. But squirrels are pesky critters that also fall into that category.  Don't know what it's like where any of one of you but here, Boys In Blue just can't stand this: Seems to irate the Sam Hell outta them.

It's just that what they started off *IS* a very important step and I don't think many will really understand the weight of this law yet. But, alas, as it can only come to one logical end, after all has been said and done, this is only a few of the required steps until, something I don't agree, they, the Establishment, and OH so wiser one's will come to the idea that now all P. AGs  should be safe to use if up to a certain foot Lb. And there we'll be folks, more kindered to our humble beginnings over the pond, right? I see no other logical place for this all to go before the end of it sees me or other way around.

Oh hell yea, I'm feeling mighty radical today!

    Abda!
