Hello all and thank you for having me in your forum group hope to share and learn as much as possible. I have been an air gunner for 35yrs now I am a predator hunter and small game hunter, love to fish and hunt. I am starting a tuning business at my home to help new shooters have the best they can expect from their air guns. Tuners are far between anymore and most of the top tuners are retiring so after 35 yrs I am taking my hobby to a new level also working on producing a proto type air gun for me to sell so I have my plate full of air gun stuff always open to learning the most I can and have an open mind to look at all sides of an idea. Hope to fine more who are looking to advance this great sport, I am also trying toget an aatf charter here in Baton Rouge area

    Here, here!

    Welcome! Nice spiel, brother.

    Welcome to the fold.

I see you took my advice, good man. Seems like you and I have a lot in common already. I'm not on much. Lots to do here of late and some coming soon. But, soon, as well, I'll be back trying to generate some topics and posts.

Who do you trust most for AG work? Do you do all your own? EVERTHING?

I see you do "mods" We have a Mod's Range. Be sure to visit there and post new stuff.

We have guys here that can do work that you might want and have in your head but can't do it because lack of a lath or some other little thing like that. Keep in touch. We can set you up with a lot of people with different abilities. Peter can do stocks and also does other mods and actually, like you, builds his own bull pups. His link is on the page and just check out his posts.

Then there is Will Piatt of Saddle Mountain Gun Smith. Their specialties overlap. You can also get some straight out good advice.

Ballistics and trajectories can be a hard figure and some of use here have "already been there, done that". And would love to share this and an eclectic collection of all sorts of info. Sure, you see a lot of "chatty" stuff, but, trust me, these guys are worth their weight in gold and I'm SO lucky to have them part of our little notch in the world!

Me? Yea, I own and run the sight. Well, I don't really run it. It runs on it's own and my admins [and] Mods do the heavy work. They are the REAL meat of this site when it comes to keeping The Independent up and running. I just do the back ground stuff.

But my member name is Squirrel and I'll post a lot of stuff under that handle I can't as chief admin here. (have to abide by my own rules and code of conduct, now, don't I?)

Glad to make your acquaintance, Sir, welcome!

    Drinking Beer

Okay, crawling back into my little cubby hole and getting under the rock from which I came. No time . . . Hope to visit again soon! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I've had a few. Now I've only got two.
    It's all I really need!
