You all say hi to a new administrator

Post by Abda on Mon Apr 01, 2013 10:01 pm

I don't make choices of who has access to a founder's site inner workings lightly. Nyhunter, aka, Grizlyadams members names, is now an admin.
I think he will promote the air gun sport and be a major help just as Tom is.
Thing is, none of us have a lot of time to attend this site and keep it running smoothly and seamlessly for our members the way we'd like. We all have lives to attend, chores to do, work that has to be done, a wife or a child that needs attention, etc.
I think this site, The Independent is a great thing and it's growing beyond my expectations, beyond my dreams [and] with good people as members, some, well known in the industry of AGs. A feller just couldn't be prouder to be a part of this.
So I'm honored to say hi to the new admin, Nyhunter. He's well liked and received, very knologable about Air Guns of all types, fire arms, trajectories and a lot of tech stuff that I would really like to see more of in our site. Not that there is anything wrong with what we do presently, be we can always be better and more of a help to whom ever wants to promote themselves in or for the AG industry.
Well, the word is out and he's here. Between him and Tom, maybe I can get some of my own work done and get back on the site more! (insert fingers crossed HERE)
You all play nice and I'll be checking in from time to time to see how it's going and doing what I can on my end to help out when I can.
Please remember; we all are volounteers and pay for this site out of our own pockets: any donations and help would be greatly appreciated!
    Yours truly,
    Will Langley,
    Squirrel, member name,
Abda, site founder and chief admin plus web master. Or, in plain words, chief cook and bottle washer!

    Enjoy! and Welcome, Nyhunter!

Hi Griz, glad to have you on board. I'm a bit challenged in the technical side, so you will be appreciated. Regards, Tom

Tom, you've always done fine. I'd tell you if you if you didn't. Trust me on that.
But we just needed some more help and he's a good candidate, tech savvy in the ways we need him and he can bring you along on the things you need to do or need to know. Give him a few days to play around there in the admin panel and I am quite sure he'll be able to answer anything you need to get done if you haven't already figured it out. Now worries, I've got back ups on the site! LOL! (trembling a little bit, Will does)
Sorry I didn't talk with you about this before I did it but it was a do or don't situation and I was finding it hard just to even take calls. So much is going on in my personal life right now I just didn't have time to debate the subject. My apologies my old friend. I'm sure you'd agree anyway or I wouldn't have done it.
But there are things you can bring him on with you as well. Between you two I'm hoping to get some of MY stuff done so I can get back to the site and work with it the way I should.
Thank you both for your supreme help and great attitudes! You help is VERY appreciated!
And lets not forget our Mods as well! Truth is, we have such nice people here! Little to do to keep the ball rolling straight, eh?
