Here's a twist.
I'd not wish anything like what I have on anybody, however, if you ARE totally disabled, you get a perk in South Carolina. A fair one too I might add.
My older neighbor across the street from my place has gotten to be one of my best friends. He's 80 but sharp as a tack. He's home all the time, so am I, we got to the doctors some time and have bite to eat and commiserate politics, bad neighbors, loud boom-boom cars with music not definable as music and kids that wear their pants around their ankles.
Anyway, he keeps telling me, "you can get free hunting license you know . . ." while I shrugged it off passing his reckoning as something he got for being civil service for over 40 years in radar repair.
But yesterday I was looking about the internet for this and that and ended up at the SCDNR site •Disability Hunting and Fishing License.
Well, that was one of the hurdles that kept me from hunting here---not being able to afford it or pay for it every year so . . .
There you go. Visit the link and or call your local SCDNR office and get your hunting license--FREE!
Okay, well, there's my news for today!
