Converted .22 to .25 Infinity Empty Converted .22 to .25 Infinity

Been a long time in waiting for it but he finally got it done. It wasn't so much the time on one but more than one to get there.

We WERE going to convert a .22 Rainstorm to a .25 and it would have been better than the Rainstorm 2. So I can to come up with another Rainstorm---my personal, I'll put pics up one day---is one of my babies---I'll shoot it until it falls apart and I've had it extensively modified. But ended up using my beloved .22 Infinity.

Now that infinity will shoot a 50 grain bullet at better than 800 FPS. The numbers were still climbing so it means I need less air in the tube to shoot it faster. Sound weird but that's the way it works.

Right now I'm shooting JSB 25.5 and boy, does it smack! I'm super happy with it.

Right now I'm waiting on my personal Rainstorm to get back from blowing out the exhaust valve on it. It's my fault though---big rule, don't store for long periods over 1000 psi. Betcha I won't do THAT again!

My average range of shooting around here is right about 25 to 40 yards and I haven't missed any thing I've shot at one time and everything, mostly my name sake, falls like a stone. You almost never hear the actual air gun: Only what it hits and it happens so fast that a stander by would not know the difference.

One day I'll lay my hands on another Infinity .22. Nothing wrong with my .25 and it's better than it was before conversion but if I had that .22 Infinity it would be like the missing link between the Rain Storm and the .25 Infinity I now I have. I'm hoping to get one of those 9mm or something similar that does automatic seeing as they are really pushing the guns laws now.

But I'm happy with what I have so far. Maybe in a couple three months I'll be finished paying off a real scuba compressor and I'll have super clean air quicker than what I can do now.

Anyway, that's my post for today. Hard to post these days, health isn't all that great.

I bagged 6 squirrels in one day from very close to my house---they've started to creep back in now that I've been out of it for such a long time.

You all stay tuned. I've got a bunch of stuff, little knick-knacks that I've collected I no longer need such as a brand new spring for a Walther Falcon Hunter, barrels, shrouds, pellets, etc that I'd rather just give away than go through all the hassle of trying to sell them.

Didn't they make a .25 Infinity at one time?
