New Drozd Blackbird! Empty New Drozd Blackbird!

I added another "fun" PCP to the arsenal from my past. I owned a Larc freon based BB machine gun about 2 decades ago that was interesting at best and junk at worst. Last week I took delivery on a modified full auto Drozd Blackbird (the latest generation) adapted to HPA and it is something to behold. Some 2000 BBs later it is one mean machine. The max performance of this beast clocks in at 1200 rounds per minute at 900 fps with a BB giving about 9 fpe at the muzzle. It spits a lot of BBs out with quite a bit of velocity. Anything flying or running within 50 yards is at risk. My setup came from Ray who owns drozdmax.com New Drozd Blackbird! 1497655283

Hey, that's got to be a lot of fun, I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a good modified used machine. I would have bought one by now, but don't know if I can afford to keep BB's in stock for all my relatives and friends.

I started with 36,000 BBs so lets see how long they last. It uses a lot of air quickly too so the Shoebox may get a workout. Its already taken a pigeon out of the top of a nearby tree. I upgraded the 68 cu 4500 tank regulator to 1400 psi output from the std 800 psi to get the 900 fps. It uses a tank full per 900 BB magazine load. The barrel was upgraded from 8" to 15" and the lithium battery voltage as well.
