Hey, Stub, I got to thinking, if you do post over there about anything here, the drawings included, there are a couple of things you could do to help out our friendly
www.airgunsinc.org Forum.
1. of course, is the drawings. We look at it as fun thing to do, but, if you do post on the
The TAG about us there and get some people that want to play our drawing thing, be sure to get them to give you credit for it so that you can get your name in the hat twice. Anybody that does the same thing gets the same thing. It's nothing new, has been part of the drawing conditions since started and doesn't really matter from what site they come from.
2. If you wish, you could do me a favor. Anybody that has known me for even a short time can tell you how I feel about the Shoebox compressor. Being disabled and all but having given up on something I really love to do, the Shoebox made it partially possible for me to come out of a rather dismal world back into the sun shine what little I can again with a renewed since of hope and enjoyment in my every day life that I'd lost even if it is sometimes short lived. I think it's like a heart pacer or a new cancer drug: Something that saved my life, or, rather, enriched it in a way and I'd like to get all those like me that don't know that it can help cross over into something that we couldn't previously.
Currently, I'm working on project for a forum here located at
The Shoebox How To Range that is Shoebox dedicated. I have permission from Tom Kaye to post his information straight from his site to ours and have already started the project albeit still under construction though still open to the public while I continue to work on the publication.
But that is little more than a good second source of info that could actually be accomplished with link backs direct to the Shoebox site.
I know that there are a lot of people at the Talon Airgun Gun Forum that have a lot of experience with the Shoebox. If you do post anything about us over there, could you target that group for us? We'd like to have as many members that have posted specific hands on experience about the Shoebox that we can. If any are disabled, I'll even try to offer some little token of my appreciation for them sharing what they know and how they feel, good or bad, about the Shoebox.
Please note that this isn't about membership or advertising. This is about an American vet of the US Army gaining back something of a life that he wants others like him to know about.
One day I hope to hold an event with Americans with disabilities and vets in the airgun arena. It's a big dream of mine. Giving back to those of us that have given our all for our country or that need that helping hand to come back into the world of light from an otherwise and previously unavailable activity. Airguns are GREAT therapy and the Shoebox makes it possible for people like me to enter it.
I can't think of a better tool to share in this regard.
Pretty soon I'm going to hold a drive to get one (Shoebox) to donate to someone or some organization for Veterans.
So, if you can snag anyone that can post about their experiences and share their stories about the Shoebox. I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, Stub. But, if you are serious about posting on the TAG about anything to do with us here at The Independent, that would be a big help for you to consider.
Thanks, Stub.
