Yea, we knew this. We don't care what other forums you belong. Never have. But there were some troubled members that have now been invited back and their accounts reinstated with us. Clean slate for everyone.

I used to post regular on several forums, not all air gun, but forums just the same. Man, it was hard to keep up with what conversation I was having, you know? Can't do that anymore: The old brain isn't wired for the same voltage any more. Just DC and lots of recharging these days! Very Happy

If you have an AF gun TAG still has a lot of info. I am on 5 airgun forums - whew.

Is there a post on TAG about AGI?

Yea, that's one reason we carry his logo.

But there isn't right now. You could put one there if you choose. I don't think it will be a problem. I'd mention the drawing. Very Happy

Well, now, do't stir! You'll have both me [and] Tony after you about that. We worked really hard, both of us, to UN stir things Very Happy.

But, all jokes, aside, I do know what you mean. It's all good.

Aw, man! I just realized the way I had that worded it could be taken the wrong way.

Well, I corrected it. I hope no one took it the wrong way.

Well, if they did, I'll apologize right now about it. I was talking about OUR members should be supportive, not any one else in general.

    Enough said.

Hey, Stub, I got to thinking, if you do post over there about anything here, the drawings included, there are a couple of things you could do to help out our friendly www.airgunsinc.org Forum.

    1. of course, is the drawings. We look at it as fun thing to do, but, if you do post on the The TAG about us there and get some people that want to play our drawing thing, be sure to get them to give you credit for it so that you can get your name in the hat twice. Anybody that does the same thing gets the same thing. It's nothing new, has been part of the drawing conditions since started and doesn't really matter from what site they come from.

    2. If you wish, you could do me a favor. Anybody that has known me for even a short time can tell you how I feel about the Shoebox compressor. Being disabled and all but having given up on something I really love to do, the Shoebox made it partially possible for me to come out of a rather dismal world back into the sun shine what little I can again with a renewed since of hope and enjoyment in my every day life that I'd lost even if it is sometimes short lived. I think it's like a heart pacer or a new cancer drug: Something that saved my life, or, rather, enriched it in a way and I'd like to get all those like me that don't know that it can help cross over into something that we couldn't previously.

Currently, I'm working on project for a forum here located at The Shoebox How To Range that is Shoebox dedicated. I have permission from Tom Kaye to post his information straight from his site to ours and have already started the project albeit still under construction though still open to the public while I continue to work on the publication.

But that is little more than a good second source of info that could actually be accomplished with link backs direct to the Shoebox site.

I know that there are a lot of people at the Talon Airgun Gun Forum that have a lot of experience with the Shoebox. If you do post anything about us over there, could you target that group for us? We'd like to have as many members that have posted specific hands on experience about the Shoebox that we can. If any are disabled, I'll even try to offer some little token of my appreciation for them sharing what they know and how they feel, good or bad, about the Shoebox.

Please note that this isn't about membership or advertising. This is about an American vet of the US Army gaining back something of a life that he wants others like him to know about.

One day I hope to hold an event with Americans with disabilities and vets in the airgun arena. It's a big dream of mine. Giving back to those of us that have given our all for our country or that need that helping hand to come back into the world of light from an otherwise and previously unavailable activity. Airguns are GREAT therapy and the Shoebox makes it possible for people like me to enter it.

I can't think of a better tool to share in this regard.

Pretty soon I'm going to hold a drive to get one (Shoebox) to donate to someone or some organization for Veterans.

So, if you can snag anyone that can post about their experiences and share their stories about the Shoebox. I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks, Stub. But, if you are serious about posting on the TAG about anything to do with us here at The Independent, that would be a big help for you to consider.

    Thanks, Stub.

Will do. I sent a PM to Adam over there and they are contemplating wether I can post something. It might be possible to get a link off of the Yellow forum.
If I didn't have three linked firehouses where i can get unlimited air close by I would consider a compressor. They are so convenient but the guys/gals do like to talk and I often get stuck for an hour or so down there. I keep them well greased in Krispy Kremes.

Got me chuckling here about the dough-nuts. That was good.

Sort of like the beer I purchase but hardly ever drink with Gary. I buy it and it disappears when he's over. But, as long as he's got that lubricant going for him, he's steady as the day is long. Very Happy

Appreciate you checking into that for us. I'm still working on that forum and it will take me a while considering the short bursts I am able to apply myself at it. Takes me forever to come up with something I'm not happy with but have to post it anyway or give up and don't post anything.

Let us know and say hi to the folks at They Yellow and The TAG. You might point out that we do carry a banner for the Yellow Classified for those that want a quick reference to the largest on line place to buy and sell air gun stuff. Might be a way to "grease the wheels" since the scratch and smell internet hasn't been invented yet.

Or, you could try sending one of these?
Works for me when I need some help from my friend Gary!
