I held off on buying a Cometa Lynx to see what these are like. Inquiring minds would like to know.

Wow.
Found that looking for what you described.
You got a link for the Cometa Lynx? Something with a snazzy picture?
On a knee jerk google search I found this on the Cometa: http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19384&sid=9b8090210bf959805dfd53be53f04998 It's got some good details from a current owner, at least, I THINK it does.

Still like that Daystate Air Ranger 80 better. Want to see more on that Evanix too.
Lynx seems to be a variant of the Rainstorm... or much like it regardless.

Have had one since they came out- and love it-very accurate, and reg. worked from 3000psi fill to give me 55+ shots @ 850 fps with a 12fps.variation over entire string. Have put 40+ shots in 2" target @ 90 yds.

Thank you for your kindness Mr.Abda
After shot several magazines, I found problem with the magazines, it always jam after first shot. The problem solved after the Evanix guys replace the mags with the the version. The new version have a garter spring to keep pellets in the proper position inside the mags. The old version used O-ring that is not strong enough to retain pellets in magazine.
If someone wants to have evanix giant, he should learn or watch the instruction carefully. I recommend to see evanix75 movie regarding evanix giant at youtube. Fortunately the Evanix guys are real gentlemen, don't hesitate to email them if you find any problem, and they will reply immediately.
The accuracy is quite good with grouping about 1-2cm at 35m distance. But you will feel a time lag between pressing trigger till fire. It's because of electronic mechanism, just like an airsoft electronic gun.
The air capacity is great. Because mine is .177, I can do 180 shot before refill at 200bar.

Re: Evanix Speed & Giant
Is that an example of one of the jammed pellets in the first pic?
This is exactly the kind of thing we all need to know about!

Yes, that's why they change the mag's O-ring with garter spring which is stronger to retain pellets inside the mag. So if you want to buy Evanix Giant, make sure that you get the magazine with garter spring. So far, after about 300 shots, I've never experience with jamming mags(I have 7 mags now)
