AR6 pistol mods
This was done for my good friend Lee Chiu as much for fun as anything else. It handles like a carbine and comes to the shoulder very nicely. The stock is very light and comes apart in seconds. I hope he enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it for him.

Re: AR6 pistol mods
Manny it was very easy to do, and it comes apart very quickly so you can bag it and carry it. If I had not just shipped it back to Lee I could have sent you the parts to put it together yourself. I have just this minute got back from shipping it. I used an aluminum threaded sleeve in the back of the handle, the stock just screws into that and then the rod set screwed into place, very simple. When you take the stock off there is just a small aluminum button left behind so you can still use it as a pistol without any unsightly parts hanging off. It looks so simple but it comes to the shoulder very nicely for shooting and with the scope on it, it is very quick to get off a shot. Get to it bud, it will only take you a short time to make and very worth while, all the best, Neil.

More pictures?
I hope you have pictures of the parts needed to make this mod and pictures of how you drilled the hole(?) to put the adapter in. My email is airsoftbestbuys at gmail dot com.
Thanks for any pictures you have!

Re: AR6 pistol mods
Sorry for some reason I did not get a notification of this post. I do not have pictures as this was just a one off made for a friend of mine. It is a very simple mod to make and the attachment to the grip is very simple, I drilled a hole and bonded in an aluminum threaded insert from my automotive collection of parts. The butt pad came off an old disco stock and was screwed to an aluminum backing. The hole thing just took a few hours to make and comes apart in seconds. If you need any help putting one together just contact me, neilclague@comcast.net and I will help you put one together, all the best, JC

Re: AR6 pistol mods
dduuuuhhhh thanks Abda I guess that would have helped, lol I had turned it off as with my 2 names I was getting unundated with notifications and with all my customers e-mails I was just getting bogged down with my mail and trying to sift through them all. I will just have to keep a closer watch on the forum. But usually I see an orange square when something new had been posted and for some reason did not see one for the posting about the modification. Thanks for the pointer, but right now just got too many messages coming in, all the best, JC

Re: AR6 pistol mods
Could be worse. Yo could be getting NO notices and that wouldn't be good the way *I* see it! It would mean we are dead here! Means we are sort of blessed, in my eyes that you do get 'em.Neil Clague wrote:dduuuuhhhh thanks Abda I guess that would have helped, lol I had turned it off as with my 2 names I was getting unundated with notifications and with all my customers e-mails I was just getting bogged down with my mail and trying to sift through them all. But too, note the plus and minus signs in the upper right hand corner of each post you read. Yo can give reputation points with those---or take them away depending on how you vote.
No body likes me, I reckon. I get no votes. Bummers. (insert crocodile tears here)
