    New pellets and neat boxes

Post by ORairgunner on Sat Jun 25, 2011 3:24 am

Hey, you guys need to go to thier website and look at these. The boxes have belt clips on them and are practically spill proof. I'm ordering a box of heavy pellets mainly to try out the box. The boxes can also be bought cheap. They also appear to have reasonable freight charges.

Thank you for your e-mail. We will have pellets available through our on-line store within a week. We are currently coming out with just the Field Line pellets for heavy rifles, Cal .177, 12.8gr, 150 per case. Retail price for the pellets packaged in the case with an innovative design with convenient soft padding, is 11 USD. The cost of a 12-pack is 122 USD. Light weight pellets are still in testing. We’ll add them for sale in our on-line store when they are perfected.
Thank you for your interest! If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

They look pretty cool. Without hands on tactile I can only guess that I'd feel that they might be bulky.

But, on the other hand, maybe not. Looks great for table top use and storage.

I've often thought about a .22 soft belt clipped pouch with a hook and loop strip for my field use. Sort of like military pouches. As it is, I've got muscle memory so bad on digging into my left pant pocket that when I see a squirrel my hand absently pats my left pocket to see how many pellets I have left!

Yea, I was thinking about checking out the pellets too but I don't own a .177 caliber.

Thinking about it but not hard enough to actually buy one.

I'm still making friends, or trying to, with the ones I have in my herd now. Some are just plain stuck up and hard arses to get to know! Twisted Evil

The heavy pellets are supposed to be available on their website for order by the end of June. I will order a box when I can, and will post pics if nobody beats me to it.

I'd really appreciate that when and if you do. Don't forget to list the caliber types too.

I also wanna know how they shoot!

Buggers. You know I don't have one that small.

Well, are they coming out with some of the heavier caliber didn't I understand you on that one?

Light and heavy in .177, the heavys are 12.8gr. But the boxes are still neat.

Tom, if you wouldn't mind, could you take precise measurements of the case? You know, hight, width, depth . . .

If they do what I think they'll do, I need to know if they'll fit into the gun cabinets I have or be able to build the new shelving and other cabinets I have in mind to house them---if I like them.

I've got tins of pellets and bullets all over the place and gosh, don't EVER get one of the wrong lids on the wrong tin and then have to try to put all right again. Bites if you get that lost! Mad

By the way, you got anything in mind to shelve your pellets in your vault? Whatcha gonna do with that idea? You know you'll have to have some kind of system---would be the right thing to do since you've gotten that good a start on it, right?

    I'm welcome to ideas---and measurements!

You any closer to getting ready to publish that?

Facing the door the left side will be a work bench, gun and pellet storage will be tied into that. I just got insulation and plywood to finish the interior walls, so will be doing that next. I'm still taking pics at each stage. The pellet case measures 1.5" including belt clip x 2.25" x 2.25". I've had it clipped to the top pocket of my Carhartt overalls, and it works great.
